Lord Of Putrefaction: Wings over a black funeral

The first of my trilogy of pre-Electric Wizard demo tapes. This is back when Jussie Oborn had a doom-death band. Think Autopsy with early Paradise Lost vocals, but not as good. Maybe some Carcass and Bolt Thrower tossed in on some the riffs. Don’t get me wrong this stuff is good, but its lacking in the catchiness and scope of the later on stuff. The sound on these tracks is particularly nasty, sounding boomy, echoing and cavernous. Perfect for the material if ya ask me.
If your a fan of disgusting, nasty, grimy, “filthier than fingering your sister and finding ye dad’s wedding ring”, type death-doom this is for you. Me… I’ll take one of the other two demo tapes.
